Pool servicing across Lane Cove

Drained pebblecrete pool with heavy leaf litter across the floor, part way through a clean-out

Installations, green pool recoveries, acid washes and pressure testing across Lane Cove and the suburbs around it. Andy is based here, so a callout is minutes away. Quoted upfront, great value.

Andy is based in this group of suburbs, which matters less as a selling line than it does for scheduling: a callout here is minutes away rather than an hour of Sydney traffic, and most of the same-day green pool jobs land in this part of the coverage area for exactly that reason. Lane Cove Council covers most of it, from the village and Lane Cove North out to Burns Bay, Riverview, the Longueville and Northwood peninsulas, and across to Greenwich and Linley Point.

Two things come up here more often than elsewhere. The first is organic load. A lot of these streets sit against Lane Cove National Park or one of the bays running off the Lane Cove River, and established canopy drops leaf litter into a pool faster than a skimmer basket keeps up with. The second is slope. Plenty of blocks fall away toward the water, so where the plant room sits is a real constraint on what equipment fits and how it gets down there.

Neither applies everywhere. Parts of Lane Cove North sit on flat open ground with barely a tree over the fence, and plenty of pools around here are five years old rather than thirty. Andy quotes off the actual site, not off a suburb name.

Common questions across Lane Cove

How quickly can Andy get to a pool in the Lane Cove area?
Aqua Andy is based in Lane Cove, so this group of suburbs is the closest part of the coverage area and same-day callouts are often possible where the schedule allows. Call 0468 650 172 and Andy will tell you what he can genuinely do that day rather than book you in and hope.
How often should a pool near Lane Cove National Park be cleaned?
It depends on how much canopy actually sits over the water. A pool right on the bush edge can need a weekly visit through autumn to stay ahead of the leaf load, while a more open block a few streets away is fine on a fortnightly or monthly schedule. Andy sets the interval after seeing the site rather than selling a fixed package.
Can pool equipment be installed on a steep block?
Usually yes, but the access is worth checking before anything is ordered. On the streets that fall away toward the water the plant room often sits well below the driveway, which changes both the pipework and how the equipment gets down there. Andy works that out at the quote stage so there are no surprises on the day.
Do I need a compliance certificate for my pool?
Every swimming pool in NSW must be listed on the NSW Swimming Pools Register, and a valid Certificate of Compliance is required before a property with a pool is sold or leased. Aqua Andy is licensed for pool repairs and servicing under NSW Fair Trading 456556C and does not carry out pool safety inspections or issue certificates, so that part goes through your council or a registered private certifier.
