My pool is losing water. How do you find out where without digging up the yard?

By testing rather than guessing. Andy isolates each line and pressure-tests it, which narrows the loss to a specific section of pipe or rules the pipework out entirely and points at the shell or the fittings. How do I stop the pool pump annoying the neighbours?
